I think it's better for them to stay with Laval. Even if they dominate, right now is not the right moment to ask them to climb the hill.

Both got a lot to prove, but they should be brought up when the team is more stable.
I totally agree. If you brought up Roy who could he play with where he could produce? No one.

So next year :sarcasm:

and back here on earth, Laval is exactly what the Habs should / could be.
Goalies who make saves and give the team a chance, a 4th line with size, physicality and fighting ability, smaller guys who have that dog in them and will not back down, some scorers, competent dmen with size and a head coach who seems to have an actual, tactical system
;)

Not sure what Roy has to prove. He sucked for a couple preseason games and is unfairly punished for it. Most of the NHL team is dogging it right now yet nobody is being punished like Roy was. Otherwise, he was clearly good enough for the NHL to drive our 2nd line before his injury. Mailloux is a wreck defensively and awesome offensively so I understand taking our time with him.

Mailloux also separated himself from his peers at the NHL level, but that was not a good thing.
Maybe just maybe he still needs seasoning? What does Mailloux being solid in Laval have to do with the shit show in Montreal? Let's enjoy watching them develop.
