I'm still debating between Protas and Chesley. I think it will be Protas, given the results from the last round, but I want to plug what Chesley is doing right now. Every single D above him in points in the entire NCAA has PP points. Chesley's all come at even (plus 1 SH). He has more EV points than Hutson, Buium, or Rinzel (for example). It's possible he has the most EV points of any D in the entire NCAA. (Am too lazy to check everyone individually.)

So take that offense and combine it with the very good defensive play he's already shown and you have a really good prospect.

I'm debating between Parascak Chesley, Iorio, and Protas.

This is where it starts getting really hard for me, weighing proximity to NHL with known (or at least a good idea of) ceiling and floor, vs high ceiling but still >=2 years away from getting into games consistently.

In 2019 they took CMM in the 1st and Big Pro in the 3rd, and 5 years ago they were tearing up the OHL and WHL respectively, and this thread was the place to go to see updates of both, the one that was 6’5” turned out a little better, this feels like that with the leagues flipped

Protas is a really nice prospect and I love his future chances but he's got a ways to go. Parascak is a legitimate top six prospect. The hype trains on these pole so far are silly.

I always vote before i read any comments. My thought process was the same. I decided to go with Protas because after seeing him exceed his brother at this age combined with Chesley not under contract.

I’m really hoping they add Chelsey as a reserve player for both Hershey playoffs and Caps playoff. Of course they would also need to sign him to a contract which will likely be a two-year, two way bridge deal.

With HHA terminating his deal, I wouldn't be surprised if they offer Chesley a shot in Hershey after the NCAA season ends.
