Cristall and Leonard are very close both in star potential and NHLer potential. I think in the preseason Leonard was above Cristall in NHLe projections, but now they've swapped.

The top 3 (Hutson, Cristall, and Leonard) are in a tier of their own and there's not too much separating them. Any order of those in the top 3 seems perfectly reasonable.
Thanks for posting these.

I think someone like Miro would break that type of projection. Models are created based on typical performances of someone with those stats, but there's no button in the model to press to indicate that the stats were depressed due to cancer. That type of rare event is basically impossible to account for in this type of model.

(I wonder how much scouting could be improved with some type of outlier detection algorithm.)

Does Lappy not make the list at all?

Assuming this is a data driven model, I don't understand what data you could input for Hutson that would spit out 84% star based on a sample size of 41 games played in U18/U20/D1. That's a lot of certainty without the data point of how Lane is doing.

Yeah I know. I just kinda decided to vote going by my own rankings all the way.

Hutson
Leonard
Cristall
Miroshnichenko
Lapierre
Protas
Mateiko
Parascak
Chesley
Allen.

The rest is really just a who cares list.

This doesn't even make sense. Your top pick is available but you vote for your 3rd pick, at the 2 spot? Great horny toads, I'm glad you're not the GM of the Caps. Might as well just vote for Joaquim Lemay!

It makes perfect sense, it just looks like you don't seem to be able to comprehend a pretty simple logical sequence. The question is pretty clear: who is the best, second-best etc. I've already voted Hutson as the best, Leonard is already off the board so I'm just going down the list.

Hehehe I guess lol.
