It’s playing out like last year. Start the season well, then fall back down to earth the following week or two. And given this team’s history in Nov/Dec, this is going to get worse before it might get better.

Well at least everyone isn't overreacting to a west coast road trip where we played 3 games in 4 nights right after playing a back to back in Raleigh.

I mean hell, this team has been tired and jet lagged this week. This was a stretch they weren't supposed to have success on. The only worrisome thing to me going into this break is how hurt Haula is.

You know as well as I do that this “bad stretch” could easily snowball if the right precautions aren’t taken. Dismissing the bad habits shown these past few games as simply jet lag or scheduled losses will find us quickly falling down the standings.

Luckily, I don’t think Brindamour is the type of coach to do such a thing, but we’ll have to see how the players respond.

They've been bad games. I don't think it's overreacting to admit that, and I don't think it's overreacting to be concerned about the prospect of bad games continuing to pile up, as they did last year.

Jordan himself said it best: if they're going to win, they need to show up. We know they have the talent now. That talent still needs to work hard every night to win, and right now, we're not seeing that.
