He's under contract with CSKA until the end of this season and the only way out is for him to buy himself out of it.
Looks like a bad career choice

He signed the extension shortly after he was drafted. To that point, he had developed well in CSKA's system.Looks like a bad career choice
They cut his ice time after nine shots on goal in eleven minutes and a SHG!?!?Don't think we could've asked for a better start to his season with that goal and then today's assists even if it's only in 3:55 of TOI today.

The goalie had to be kicking himself for not coming out for that one.
Line chemistry in hockey is a beautiful thing. You know it when you see it. Three players flowing out of the defensive zone together, knowing where each other is going to be, understanding where each other likes to receive the puck.
Three guys playing off the same sheet of music.
That’s what we’re witnessing in the early goings of the 2024-25 KHL season. The chemistry being built by Sabres prospect Prokhor Poltapov and CSKA linemates Maxim Sorkin and Vitali Abramov, who have been teammates for three years but have rarely joined forces, is leading to some pretty sweet music.
---------------------------
The productive night gives Poltapov seven points (2+5) through the first three games of the season, which ties him with Sorkin for second in KHL scoring. Abramov is currently alone atop the KHL leaderboard with five goals and nine points.
Sweet music indeed.
It's only 3 games, but so far, so good!Poltapov having a breakout season?
I see they've amended his TOI.
