I gotta think RHP starts in MTL.

Dvo will start on IR, so that alone will get him in the 23 man roster to start. Hopefully his play secures his spot. Also, you have a 22 man roster. I think Pez makes it as the 23rd man, unless one of Heineman or Primeau can steal his spot with their play.

This is tricky with 16 current forwards, so I'm making a few moves first
With salary retention and an underwhelming return we find Hoffman a new home.
Whether he clears or not, we try to send Pitlick to Laval.
It is also time to seriously consider buying out Armia.
I also even move Allen to give Primeau one last chance.
Now I have 13 forwards, 7 D, and 2 goalies and just need to figure out where to place them

Yes that's what I meant, he can go through freely so I expect him to be sent down to start the year.

He has 1 year or 32 NHL games before he becomes waiver eligible. So if he plays a 33rd NHL game this year, he will need to go through waivers, even if it's in the middle of the season.

He was healthy scratched often last year. He and Drouin would be in the press box quite a few nights. I see no reason that will change this year. Sure, Hoffman is in the final year of his deal and could be trade bait, but so was Drouin last year, and that didn't stop MSL from making him a healthy scratch in favor of a young guy.

He still played 67 games for us...too much if you ask me .... of course we were riddled with injuries so we had to put anything we could out there,

I missed my window, but I bought Army out
Hoffman we retain half and give him away.

the other guy wasn't saying RHP has to clear, he was saying because he can't get claimed it cost RHP a roster spot he has earned because inferior vets are still stealing spots
