Amazon broadcast was really good once I got it going. Always good to see them play well at the Dome.
That might have been the best full team defensive performance since Sutter was fired. Up there anyway.
Liked all the lines really, Zary was carrying Kadri and Yegor pretty hard though. The hands on the boy are legit.
Best Pospisil C game I've watched. Thought Weegar and Ras were both great, nice game from the 3rd pair too.

Starting to wonder if they're going to limit Wolf's starts for the sake of our 1st lol

Before and after the play in question you can see that the crossbar exactly covers the goal line so the goal line is not visible. Therefore if the puck is entirely beyond the crossbar it must also be entirely beyond the goal line. Likely the reason they put the camera exactly there in the first place.

If only they'd thought to do it a few decades sooner.

ya I guess so
there's like one total frame here where it looks like it's fully across the crossbar plane
Just don't know what the threshold is for the NHL to call in a replay. The Kings didn't challenge or anything. I don't think the refs initiated it from what I could tell but could be wrong. Seems like every time the NHL calls in to the Dome it spells bad news for us.

This is something that NHL commentators always confuse their audience on. The original video reviews that have been around for the entire 21st century (whether the puck crossed the line, was kicked, etc.) have remained unchanged since the coach's challenge was introduced. The process is initiated by Toronto. They review every single goal automatically and anything that could be a goal and ask for more time if they think it's contentious.

Coaches are only allowed to challenge goalie interference, offside and that new category of things that should have been whistled down (like hand pass).

I always hear commentators saying things like "let's see if they challenge this" when they think the puck was directed in with a high stick or a kick, but it is not a coach's challenge situation.

But anyway, one frame showing the puck in is exactly what they're looking for. That's a goal.

I’m usually very skeptical of longterm goalie contracts but this team needs to lock Wolf down. Learn from the Tkachuk bridge.

I think they are very different types of guys so I don't think we should be scared with Wolf. Tkachuk was always going to do what was best for him, Wolf just wants to play.
