I know the flash is there but this team is playing much smarter in the neutral zone than they were 2 weeks ago or son.
very true.

i will freely admit I was very worried about our play around the trade deadline. Logic dictated that they would improve but being a ranger fan my entire life brings on the pessimism.

These last 2 games have been so fun

Just gotta stay healthy. Don't think it really matters how they're playing the rest of the season. Can't help but remember last year being concerned with the Kid line being total trash late last year only to end up being our best line in the playoffs.

The playoffs are just a different game.
Exactly. I'm not worried about them one bit.

It starts with the net front defense. I think they're realizing that when you can get the puck back after your goalie makes the save, you're simply in a better position to start your offense with all your players tight to each other. And the smarter neutral zone play is created from that, when they move up as a unit of 5.

Unlike 80% of the other broadcast teams in the league, the MSG broadcast doesn’t disparage other teams.

Won't lie tho, It'd be pretty funny to hear that wonderful Sam Rosen voice drop some heaters like that.

Sam: Oh.....Joe.....I don't know. The Predators look dreadful tonight. John Hynes should get stuffed into a barrel and rolled down a hill.

Joe: They're just not good Sam.

Sam: Not at all.

What team comes away from a back to back not giving up a goal and scoring more than a dozen?

Not even Team Canada playing Germany and Switzerland in group action.

Filip Chytil, with stick in hand,
Skates onto the ice, a fearless man.
The game is on, the puck in sight,
He'll do what it takes to win tonight.

He flies down the rink, past one, two, three,
His speed and skill are plain to see.
He fakes out the goalie, shoots and scores,
The crowd erupts, their cheers encore.

For Chytil's goal, his twentieth this year,
Is something to celebrate, something to cheer.
The Rangers dominate, 7-0 the score,
The Predators left with nothing more.

Chytil's name will be remembered,
For his goal that crushed the Predators.
A shining star on the Rangers' team,
A player that fans will forever dream.

So let us raise a glass and cheer,
For Filip Chytil, the hero of the year.
May he continue to light up the ice,
And lead the Rangers to more victories nice.

What a blast of a time. I went to the game with a client and a coworker and we were all just having a blast. My coworker's first game, too! She's not a big sports person but had an absolute BLAST. May have found a new Rangers fan!

So much fun. Have never been to a game that has ended up like this.

The last insane game I went to was the game that Orr put Fedoruk on a stretcher. And that wasn't a crazy score, but just a wild game for that event and all.

13 goals in the last 2 games. Let's hope they can keep this up! Or at least some semblance of it, LOL!

Oh, yeah. Now I am going to smoke a ton of weed and relax. Wish it was Saturday and not Sunday!
