imo Erod needs to go back on the 2nd line with benny and chucky again and boqvist on that 3rd line with the 4th being as is unless mackie comes back,.
Moderately concerning were always giving up quite a few goals per game and its rare if we just give up 2 or fewer

and still in the thread LOL. My Stanley Cup is keeping happy though little guys 
but I’ll be the first one liking their posts in playoffs when they lose out in round 1 (as per usual) with Elite playoff coach Keefe and can’t figure out why a team beat them when the physicality ramped up and their loser core just couldn’t get it done with no space. Enjoy these 2 big wins in November when Florida can barely get out of bed with how bored they are! And I get why you guys like the posts. Jersey is a shithole with a very mediocre hockey team and there isn’t anything else to be happy about. Jersey ain’t winning a cup again in your lifetime little guys. At least you can say you finally beat ”greatness”. Too bad the games didn’t count.

Worst game in a long time. Barky was nowhere to be seen (in memoriam vendetta). Refs on the same low level. What the hell are these guys doing?

I woke up this morning and saw the score - not sure I really want to even watch the highlights of this one... What happened? Did we just shit the bed and not turn up? Or are there any potential concerns? We had a pretty awful schedule recently so I'm not too concerned if the team are dipping slightly after that huge road/air trip, but want us to at least be competitive even if we're not winning.
[sigh] Onto the Jets. I really want us to beat them just to show we could.
PS. Maybe time to ditch the robes? I love them and want to own them but maybe the magic only works in Finland and with bad teams....

Panthers need a #3/4 dman to drop Kuli down to the 3rd pair, it doesn't matter now but I expect it'll happen at the TDL if possible (wish Florida had more draft capital to move). I also would like a top 9 wing. If it's a possibility to rest people down the stretch I'd also like to do that due to the amount of hockey played. That's still going to be the #1 issue this year.
Lack of motivation. Is what I'm seeing. I don't know how they are going to get that back, if they can. Unfortunately, it is a possibility, we might have to wait until next season. For the proper level of motivation to return.
only good thing i can take from this, only bad news is looks like hellebuyck is gonna start since he got the night off in tampa and theyre comin off a loss too

Their best games have been against actual rivals like Boston, NYR and Tampa. Or against Dallas where they had extra motivation for obvious reasons.
I think it just shows that they are able to turn the switch on when needed. Only very teams can do that, and the Panthers are one of them IMO. Reminds me Tampa or Pittsburgh in their great years. No matter what, you knew these teams would be ready when it really counts.
The thing about Florida is it doesn’t matter how they get in the playoffs. They know how to play there. Keefe is a great regular season coach but will get outplayed where it counts in playoffs
They live in Jersey. Let’s throw them a bone. The city smells and so does the team when the games matter.
Maybe it's just my personal competitiveness. But I can see motivation in every game you play. Even if just setting aside the opponent as motivation. Overall, if you have to wait to turn it on like that, you really aren't motivated. You have to prepare yourself during the season for the playoffs. No matter how successful you have been. Having to pick and choose when to play the basic style of game that is your identity, throughout the season, they are not going to be playoff ready the way they need to be.
No team is above reality. You can't turn it on and off like that and expect to come out on top in the end. Especially for this team. When their identity is the antithesis of that.

They are humans. You can’t asked them to play like it’s a game 7 playoffs game every night.
They’ve learned how to win and they how how hard it is to make long runs in the playoffs.
Last playoffs, they were way more less physical than the year before. Why? Because they’ve learned that playing physical like they did in 2023 wasn’t sustainable to win a cup.
What you call lack of motivation, I call it energy management. If they can make the playoffs while playing at 80% of their capacity, they sure will. Not all teams have this luxury, but they do.
I just thread banned them all.
