Trying to say the Habs will be comprised of 5, or 6 homegrown d and actually be good is highly unlikely.

There's a reason he was picked 3rd. Chicago was just impatient and in full tank for Bedard mode. Plus it kinda sucks going to a veteran team as one of the only teenagers and get limited opportunities. See Laff

Yeah, it's not Joseph will be a 20 goal scorer, 40 point getter.

It's he could be a 10g, 20-25 point pker, speedy bottom 6 player with some size at 6'1, local kid AND you get an asset to take him. Maybe it's a 1st, maybe it's 2 2nds, still get something to take on a player that's maybe a little overpaid, but only needing to be dealt because of the cap crunch and he's on a team that's pretty good, so he doesn't get much ice time/isn't that much needed.
