Boqvist is just not getting it done, this is the season he should be stepping up and he just isn't. I would always reach out to CBJ to see if they would be interested in reuniting him with his brother, get a pick or something.
Agreed. I really thought Boqvist arrived when he coned Quinn Hughes for that sick goal last season. He looks nothing like that guy so far.
Lets hope he can gain his good shape. He has some skills and can read the game, but often he looks like player who is very good but can`t do some thing to stay in NHL. I actually don`t know how, but he should be better forechecker. I saw he has tools for drive and for shot, but lost his player without the puck and not in position. But when he is on, he can compesate by skating and finding spots for partners and himself.

Admittedly I didn't see the first period, but Blackwood has stopped a couple of point blank opportunities and Holtz has already looked better in his own D zone than some of the "regulars" from last season; while continuing to generate opportunities.

Holtz looks significantly closer to ready. Definitely still makes some mistakes, but he clearly worked on all the things the coaches asked him to.

That's because he wasn't fired until after most of the coaching vacancies were filled.

Don't they know this?

Clarke might be the best prospect over holtz and Z. Setting himself up nicely for next year

Really looking to see if Bahl can reliably outplay Graves this year.

Luke being here next year is an inevitability. Are they really going to roll with a combined less than six years experience on the left side? Especially if they do make or get close to the postseason this year?

I didn't realize Zetterlund was in this game until a little while ago.
