Not a very enjoyable game to watch, and I normally like preseason games for the sake of getting a look at prospects with a mix of NHL players. I would have liked to see a few more regulars playing since they turned over roughly half the roster, but oh well. Got my wish of watching propsects though.

To me, Drury is the only prospect likely to get NHL games this year. I could see them keeping Jarvis around for a few games to start the season, but I don’t see him getting in unless there’s an injury to one of the top 9 guys.

I wonder if any of guys they’ll likely waive later tonight or tomorrow will get claimed. I could see a team taking a flyer on LaJoie or a guy like Leivo.

What happened to the thread where we ask questions about Canes players for fantasy hockey reasons?

I guess it doesn’t matter for me anyways. I was unable to get a single Canes player. Necas got snagged before I could get the chance.
