I just don't understand. We just won 2 Cups, signed a new TV deal and FSW still treats the Kings like they did during the purple-silver-black era. No more Lakers and Dodgers, so pony up some money for Kings preseason games, FFS.

Wasn't this the game last year when Tanner Pearson told Sutter to put Jordan Weal in the shootout and Weal won the game?

ETA: I looked it up and evidently it was a fella named Jordan Neal who won the game 2-1 in the shootout. Thanks, ESPN!

but weal's not playing.

ha ha, neal won it. i remember that one.

good to see one of these up, good effort.

Thanks. Let me know if there's anything you guys want to see in the GDT. I think player photos are out of the question because it makes it almost impossible to update on short notice. With text I can update anywhere. I also might pare down the stats area unless you guys find that useful. Let me know.

Yeah not sure of who they're playing in preseason games. Tried to guess. I hear Nolan may be in and Budaj might be backup tonight.

Yeah, Rosen reports that Nolan and Greene are in. Optional skate but he guesses that Clifford, Lewis, O'Neill and Weal are sitting.

Looks like Mersch is getting a good long look.

Possible Avs lineup:

Grigs-Duchene-Comeau
Landeskog-Soderberg-Rantanen
Martinsen-Mitchell-Bleackley
Bordeleau-Cliche-Skille

Johnson-Beauchemin

The pre season still doesn't exist according to FSW, it's a slap in the face.

I splurged a whopping $8 to go see this game… woohoo… 7 hours of football followed by hockey. Not a bad day...

Looks like someone's having fun.

Mersch and king with grade A opportunities in the slot. King actually got the shot behind the goalie, but varly reached back and covered it. No grade a chances for the avs through 11 mins. Erhoff looks steady. No concerns with him anchoring the 2nd pairing.

Nolan doing the dirty work, mersch with the goal. First shot blocked, got a lucky bounce and buried it backhand.
