The good thing there is they imported some hate that could fuel an actual rivalry by getting Kesler AND Bieksa and us snagging Lucic.

This is the first time I have ever heard of Brian O'Neill.

haha!

Late bloomer, smallish, but last year's AHL scoring leader and MVP. Ivy league education. Has skills for sure, but not sure how he'll perform vs. NHL players, particularly in the corners. Interesting to see how he does with Kopi and Lucic especially away from his usual linemates.

Have a feeling that if he doesn't make the team (I don't know many that think he will, there's probably only room for one of him or Weal on the roster and most feel Weal is ahead), he'll be moved to another team with a better shot in my humble opinion. If he doesn't make it this year, I could see him going to Europe or just using that degree for something. Political Science from Yale has to be good for something!

Safe to say I don't follow the AHL too much.

Thanks for the feedback, he's a frustrating player in that sense. He can take over a game and be the best player out there but he can also vanish and blend in. Think he will really excell with Kopitar though!

The game is on NHL Network tonight...
