100% me talking, but Kasper is ready. He will only get better and better now, playing a regular shift in the NHL.
I still tend to think they’re gonna send him down, and as soon as there’s a Top 9 injury, they’ll recall him for good. Or, they’re gonna move on from Berggren. That’s who likely loses a spot if Kasper is kept.
The way he played with Kane and Tarasenko last night, but how he can move up and down in the lineup is why he’s probably the most ready out of all the forward kids.
Like Edvinsson though, would half a season dominating in the AHL be worth sending him down? That’ll be the question Yzerman and Lalonde have to answer.
Think we’re only looking at Kasper and Elmer as youngsters who can make the opening day roster. Would I be shocked if they kept Danielson? No, but 50+ games in the AHL aren’t gonna hurt him at all. Lombardi has to just keep getting better with his 200’ game. Same with Mazur.

Raymond level statement. Both of these are not amazing goals, but glad to see Kasper score a couple goals. He has made this choice much harder and playing with pure checkers tonight while doing it.
