It’s a half baked disaster that never picked a true direction and is now aging and undertalented.

And Trouba is a lousy player so it probably affects his captaincy.

Agree on the second part but for the first part I think the Rangers actually have talent (Jet's kinda do but lost a lot of it 4 snaps into the season). I just don't what I watched over 6 games in the preseason. Absolutely zero chemistry with the forward lines and a pp that does the same old shit.

After the way last season ended it’s extremely troubling to see them play basically the exact same way thru 6 more games.

Big names completely MIA and the powerplay super stale. PK horrendous

The only positive is we aren’t giving up much at 5v5. And shesterkin seems locked in.

I foresee the need for another rebuild coming soon. Without a Laf/Kakko pairing to take the team over as stats it will just be a punt back to the lotto.
