It's an exhibition game, who cares if they're up on a fluke bounce?

Othmann, Henriksson, Gustafson were noticable that period for me.

Top line doesn't look like a great fit, I wonder about Chris back in a system where you have to think. That was a classic bad period for him.

One of these days Cuyyle will carry the puck for more than a split second more than once a period. Some people really think he should be on the 3rd line....

Othmann, Gus and Henny look good so far. Laf hasn't been great but neither has Mika or Kreids.
Laf can do that to a line.

it will suck when one of Jones or Gustafsson has to sit because this franchise is in love with Schneider, for Some Reason

Othmann looks incredible

Henriksson making the most of it out there.

Not really impressed with anyone. Team still seems unsure whether to be passive or active. Makes sense though. It's game 3.

Devils are good and at this point it makes me laugh at how mad that makes some Rangers fans.

He did not play in game one. Othmann is already more impactful in this game than Laf. That steal on the Devils breakout play was evidence of his ability to read a play— something I don’t think is ever said about Laf!
I thought Cuylle also looked pretty savvy and aware of what’s going on. Have only seen a very little though, tbh.

I've seen the same. He's got the right mindset, seems to understand early what kind of player he needs to be at this level and has improved those things. Small area skills, setting picks, finishing checks when it's there... he reminds me a lot of Alex Tuch when he came in with the knights, albeit with much less upside and speed. Just that he gets it the way tuch did.
