Indeed. To spell it out. Kakko has to take one for the team because Laffy's situation is more desperate. Kinda the same thing with the PP. Kakko would fit easily on PP1, if his style was accommodated... which it won't be because it's not a screaming need.

Panarin and Kakko don't work well because both want to be on the puck and dictate play as we've seen in the past, so that means he won't be on the 2nd line either.

I fully expect Kakko to start on the third line to give the team depth and use his strengths to support the other players on his line, and maybe get a look on PP2 as an afterthought.

Was hoping to see Berard and Sykora again tonight but I guess we'll have to wait another game to see them.
 
I think to start the season we will see Kakko on a line with Trocheck and Probably Vesey or Goodrow as a matchup/checking line. Panarin with Chytil and Wheeler, Kreider with Zib and Lafreniere. Makes sense conceptually.
 
Looking forward to that top line and more of Othmann. Put Trocheck or Chytil between Othmann and Wheeler and that's your 3rd line when you break camp.

Thats what i hope if he makes it, but i think they will send Othmann to the AHL til atleast Christmas. I think Cuylle will get in instead and i hope they use him in that spot instead of Vesey.
I also would have liked to see Hendrikson playing with high end players, i think he is the type that can compliment that type and needs them on his line to be effective, he's never making the team but I'm just curious if he would stand out with those types.

What happened to Chytil? I know Mika’s UBI e was an arm thing. Not really worrying. I’m hoping Chytil is not another head thing.

I foresee Othmann being legitimately a very good player who gets flak because the expectation has been set that he's going to be Todd Bertuzzi on meth.

Basically the Chris Kreider arc.
