ok, I am hyped and all, but also, these "walk up" videos always strike me as a bit funny --- usually the players are walking through a giant parking lot, a loading dock, or in front of a bunch of dumpsters

The dumpsters were added in 97 when the staff had to get rid of all of those Ed Belfour Sharks jerseys and shirseys that they printed, and they've been here ever since.

It looks like tonight is a mini-fanfest/preseason game. I went to a fanfest a few years ago and they had the Sharks and Ducks rookies in an actual NHL game. I got to sit near the glass. It was a lot of fun. It seems like they are trying to bring a little flare of that back.
