I did a quick check — seeing if this was normal — and Jon Cooper was in Carolina coaching the other night. So, this is not normal.

The Flyers aren’t in split squad games. The guy simply just doesn’t want to travel to away preseason games. If he doesn’t watch the games either, I wouldn’t be shocked.

I assume he coaches at home tomorrow, but who knows? If it wasn’t already glaringly apparent from late last season, Tortorella can do as little as he wants.

Don't feel bad. I entered a trivia contest the other night, finished fifth out of 14 (I was solo, other teams were grouped). I zoomed up the ladder with geography (14/14) but then the questions were music related. I assumed I would nail that sucker, so I doubled down. Yikes! Something or someone called Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston and it got worse from there. I should have stuck with the ponies.
