The NHL guys are just stretching their legs in these games.
After these games, probably the first group of cuts and then games become more like NHL tryouts.

Nobody is taking performance by NHL talent against scrubs as a measuring stick of their progress.
These games are more for getting a look at players like Bonk, Luchanko, etc. before they get sent back to the CHL.
Once the first round of cuts are made, the games get more serious b/c you're playing against guys fighting to win NHL spots.

I’d like to say that Tortorella is back in Philly working with the club and establishing a system. After the last two seasons we’ve seen that he is not into player evaluations and his offensive system is ****. It would be better to leave Shaw alone to work with the defensemen who progress has been seen. Stay away from the forwards since he has nothing to offer.
