What's the thought process behind goalie pads by and large being white? Something about being harder to easily see an opening with a glance versus the contrast of dark pads and the ice? Thought I heard something about that somewhere once.

Yeah, I'd say that's a part of it. Same reason skaters use black tape and goalies use white tape.

Really liking the Poulin-Kapanen duo out here.

Poulin's all around game and size are both NHL caliber at this point, so if Poulin can have some sort of offensive impact with his shooting, I think he'll be in the NHL sooner than later.

He gives me real Saad vibes from what I've seen.

I feel like Kap's just skating circles around these guys and selflessly setting up his teammates. Hope Poulin can capitalize on one or more of these chances.
