I would, except I’m going to try and manage the injury thread this year. Hopefully someone new steps up.

Also, might be the only time the Jackets ice a better forward group than us.

However if those surplus guys listed are just reserves, I fully expect Riikola to be scratched. 'Tis the Sullivan way.

Really intrigued to see how Poulin, Legare and POJ look while playing with actual NHLers on their line. Really intriguing to see that they're getting chances with actual NHLers and not the AHLers.

Also pours more water on the "Simon will make the team!" chatter, and makes me wonder if Lafferty has a one-way ticket to WBS once the season starts.

This game is for a handful of people:

Poulin, Legare, and Boyle upfront. No one in that bottom 6 is relevant.

Riiko, Freidman, POJ. Someone is going to get that #6 slot. Rudwedel will be the defacto #7 IMHO.

Lindgren. Get some comfort from knowing the starter is with you. Excited to see what he can do for us.

I can't see a scenario where Lafferty isn't waived to start the year unless he blows up in these pre-season games.
