The guys who will make the team had solid periods. Luchanko and Michkov didn't look out of place at all. Positive start.

Tippett has the ability to do fast puck movement especially with guys open, but he has to defeat his urge to shoot.

Is there any chance Andrae makes the team this season??? Or is he destined for the AHL again with some callups when needed

I get that Gill hasn't been good, but I'm not throwing him under a bus. 18 years old, his first pro camp and is more than likely overwhelmed with what's being thrown at him. Adversity isn't a bad thing. He knows what he's going to need to do to get better. People might find this odd, but I like when players experience difficulties and adversity. It forces them to either get better or they drown. The term character gets thrown around quite often, but this is a definitive character builder.

I suspect he's a candidate to play most of the year in the AHL, barring a significant injury.
