This is false lol. We have a chance. If Skinner starts tomorrow then it’s series over. It’s as simple as that.
The team is in a very hard spot with who to start. It's a lose, lose.

Mike Smith could win games. Sadly, neither Skinner nor Pickard are even on his level.Stu Sucks, but Picard was not much better.
Picard might be slightly better, but people here acting like Stu is Mike Smith and Picard is Carey Price
I am going to go against the grain here and say I don't hate it if Stu starts. Picard is small and LAK shoot high often. I feel like Stu has a higher ceiling and we need that if we want to advance deep.
(I know Stu sucks and I am not a supporter at all. He's slow, not athletic and can't seem to get a .900 to save his life)
Not sure what happens but if Skinner starts tomorrow it will be the first Oilers playoff game I've missed in decades. I only missed any other due to working or being away from home.If Skinner starts tomorrow then it’s series over. It’s as simple as that.
Smells like a bathroom ceiling.Stu has the ceiling of a doll house.
"Grumpy...Grumpy Koala! I thought it was you."This is f***ing Groundhog day. But with infected zombies, giant spiders, and mandatory pineapple on brown bread burned pizzas.
This a crime again humanity, horror beyond comprehension, my day is ruined and my sanity gone.
Those 2 mutts guys have nailed some things in the past. I would bet it's Skinner. They did the same thing last year against Vancouver.
Skinner at "his best" appears once every 20 games and "his best" is still slightly better than league average.Assuming skinner starts with a 2 goal leash. Whether we like it or not skinner at his best is better than average pickard. Let’s just hope for our sake skinner wakes up at home.
Pickard had a brutal second period but at the end of the day the team was only down by one goal heading into the third and he locked it down not giving up anything else after that. He made the saves when they counted. Stu didn't in the third of the first two games. He got progressively worse. I still trust Pickard a hell of a lot more than Skinner at this point.Stu Sucks, but Picard was not much better.

And yet he rarely shows up. He has a good game and then a million bad ones. He's the definition of inconsistent and that's why he can't be trusted. The sample size is more than large enough at this point. He fn sucks. lolAssuming skinner starts with a 2 goal leash. Whether we like it or not skinner at his best is better than average pickard. We aren't winning the Cup with Calvin Pickard.
We don't need Dallas Skinner. We just need above average goaltending. Pickard provide thatMy point was we need Dallas Skinner to win the cup. Will we see it? Likely not.
They only said out of the first round. If he was done for the year, there would no reason for them to withhold that information.
Is there a reason to believe the bold is actually true?Assuming skinner starts with a 2 goal leash. Whether we like it or not skinner at his best is better than average pickard. Let’s just hope for our sake skinner wakes up at home.
There were articles in various places, including nhl website. Knoblauch said something to the effect that he could be out "for a while," "at least the first round."Where did you hear that?

Emberson and Kulak have been our best PK duo, I think I would just drop a redundant F and go 11-7.
The question is what is "quite some time." Being out 2 months is the end of the season. Being out 1 month in the context of the playoffs (potentially one or two rounds) is "quite some time."
