Plus the already “damaged” back going into the match.

Honestly from a booking perspective I wouldn't be shocked if it was his preference to just dumpster some of these PPVs

He is the only big babyface champ they have right now so I kind if get not wanting him to look weak, but I think this was too far with that.

Should have been more of a technicality or a cheaper way he was able to get to his feet like how sliding out of the ring saved him earlier.

Just too much of a beating to believably be able to stand up before Nakamura

Ehh I wouldn't go that far. Give him a week or two off then have him do a big angle spot and people will move on and bite.
