Well I was going to say the only real reason was because I thought they had 2-3 games in hand against the likes of Toronto, Isles, Tampa, etc. but it appears after tonight that is no longer the case after looking at the standings.

Couple of weeks ago, people were upset this team wasn't going to make progress this year. Now we're back on track, and even though we still almost certainly won't make it, there's certainly a possibility once again of a better record than last year. And that makes people upset. Sucks to lose draft position, but I'm okay with it overall.
