Agree. He definitely got the chest first. Unfortunately, he hit it so hard that it deflected to hit the head. Considering the puck wasn’t there to begin with, I don’t see how Preds have any complaint.

FWIW he has performed pretty decent overall in his 9 appearances for Nashville. I wouldnt go as far as calling him vintage pekka though. With the cap set to rise significantly over the next couple seasons, Saros contract might not be the worst thing ever but im not excited about it. At this point, i feel like Annunen + vet cheaper goalie on short term contract will yield the same results as what we are getting now. As long as we tether ourselves to this "system"
