WC: Predictions for the 2025 WC

LOL. Zero.

Posters have been saying, "Canada and Sweden have the 2 best rosters on paper". To be completely honest, to my dummy eyes, Canada's roster is ahead of Sweden's - it might not be close. :)
Yeah. Swedens roster lacks edge completely.

What we have to hope for is Raymond and Carlsson really gelling Zib regaining some of his former glory, Forsberg doing what he did in 23-24 and Edvinsson aging 2-3 years in a week.

Gold - Canada
Silver - Sweden
Bronze - Czechia

Slovakia barely makes the top 8, but then exceeds expectations and takes Crosby's Canada to OT, only to lose in another heartbreak as Crosby scores the GWG to win the game 4 -3.

Great offense play Switzerland but stop in quarterfinal, absolutly fail - slovakia. Slovak players hate to represent in this tourney and this year they did it again. Maybe even relegated

Czechs with back to back gold's? I'd love it but I just cannot see it lol. Last year was like putting on old pants and finding money in the pocket lol

I see a lot of heart and goot atmosphere in this team, see how happy elite players go and play for their country is awsome

Finish nhl player dont care about this tourney even more as slovaks, and it is not easy to beat :D

Swedish Leauge grinders choosen ahead of NHLers like Burakovsky, Stenlund, Höglander, Sundqvist etc. We have a crazy coach.
You have one of the best rosters and are an absolute favorite no matter what old friend. I've seen Kraken a couple of times this past season and I can assure you that the current Burakovsky is not a player a single team in this tournament would miss.
NHL here, NHL there, I mean I'm not at all convinced that a NHLer like Pärssinen will contribute more than other players for Leijonat. Hämeenaho excites me more and he plays in Liiga... And besides the other Liiga player Leppänen it ends there.

Stenlund on the other hand is a capable fourth liner. But I know your tactics by now. You are trying to anti-jinx Sweden and trying to convince others that they aren't favorites ;)

Tell me in what way the Swedish roster is stronger on paper than Canada and USA. Compare the names.

Burakovsky was great in last years WC.
