Last player Korpisalo

Columbus doesn't want to lose him for nothing so settle for a late pick. Team acquiring figures a late pick is worth the gamble/good insurance in case of injury to their goalies.

First player will be a big name guy like Giroux, which will happen a few days before the deadline, this will get us all excited thinking it will be a very active deadline. Then it will be relatively lame. Last one traded is Subban who goes at 50% for a 3rd to some team who missed their guy and wanted insurance on the blue line.

1st - Chiarot to either Toronto or Calgary (If latter Then likely moving Zadorov at the same time)
Last - Hot Dog Kessel to NYR for scraps (with no retention)

I could see the Ducks either being involved in the first or the last trade of the deadline. Verbeek is a new GM in charge of a new team... he could either try to make a splash/set the market early or wait too long for the perfect deal and be stuck with whatever the last standing offer is just before the deadline. First deadline being the guy and a lot of upcoming UFA's to deal with, so he'll be busy but the question is when.

Motte
Horvat

Motte appears to not be returning and seems like there may be offers already.

Horvat seems like a last minute decision due to price and being the current captain.
I think he’s going to Philly for Provorov. JR is out of the same division as them and has seen a lot of him over the years. Horvat is cousins with Koneckny and they will be looking for a Center to replace Giroux. Canucks have had scouts at the last two Flyer games and after a “stud Dman”
