Sixth best French center back isn't averge

Romero is a boss stuck on a shit team with an amateur coach where he barely played this year because of injuries.

Other than Alvarez, Lautaro, and Home Alone, who is guaranteed a spot in the german team? Romero if he can keep his s*** together better than Toni? Lisandro when he's not injured? Emi while MAtS is injured?

MacAllister - Pavlovic
Mittelstädt/Raum - Lisandro/Tah/Schlotterbeck - Rüdiger/Romero - Kimmich

I take Martinez over ter Stegen, no doubt about it. Probably the husk of Tagliafico over those options you guys have at left back too. De Paul over Pavlovic too, he hasn't earned it yet.
 
The whole lineup is stupid. Enzo is dropped. And lautaro at 10 while Messi died apparently.

I have to pick my battles with yall and sometimes I feel like some are taking the piss.

Why would lautaro be playing as a 10?

Why is MAtS be starting when he’s been abysmal for awhile and now a major injury. A retired scz has out shined him and even a scrub like Pena has done better than him recently. Ask most Barca fans they want nothing to do with him anymore. I’ve been one of his biggest advocates of his for years but he’s rinsed

I dunno how to rate MAtS. He was playing great for us before getting hurt, but who knows what level he'll be at next summer. If he's not back to his best by the WM, Baumann is awesome and should continue to start.

Pavlovic is already Bayern's 3rd best player after Musiala & Olise.

He wasn't. Wirtz & Musiala are the 10s, Lautaro was playing as the shadow striker off Alvarez the way Undav / Burkardt play off Havertz / Kleindienst / Füllkrug. It's a 4-4-2/4-2-2-1-1, but the attack is very fluid.

That was caveated with MAtS getting back to his best by the WM once he's recovered, if he doesn't he won't take the job back from Baumann.

Lautaro doesn’t play that role at all. It would be Alvarez if anything. And Enzo isn’t being dropped.

MAtS was awful for Barca. He not Baumann are replacing Emi in a hypothetical team.

It's almost the exact same role Lautaro has played off of Thuram, whenever I've watched Inter to check on Bisseck and when they played Bayern in the CL. However you line them up, the front 4 would be 2 of yours and 2 of ours :dunno:

People will learn who Pavlovic is soon enough.


Aren't we judging guys based on NT form? MAtS was still awesome for the NT the last time he was healthy enough to play, so I was assuming he'd get back to that level...whether he matched it for Barca or not.

Again, if he doesn't, he won't be able to win back the job from Baumann, who's been massively under-rated for years just because he's stayed with Hoffenheim and instead of buying defenders, they just leave everything to him.
 
If we go just based on NT then I’ll take the multiple trophy winner … over hoffeinham? I’ve seen this song and dance from you and Germany until they don’t soil themselves in a tournament I’ll take Argentina.

He's been just as good for the NT in ter Stegen's absence as he has been for TSG.

Beating Scotland, Denmark and hungry isn’t going to convince anyone.

This was also with Gundogan still being good and Ter Stegan wasn’t even playing.

Everyone who watched saw that only a wrongfully denied penalty stopped us from beating Spain, while being the only team to go toe to toe with them.

Pavlovic is already better than Kroos was last summer, with Stiller not far off, and Ilkay as a 10 was meh, we've been much better with a 2nd forward or 3rd CB...and we were still dragging Neuer's corpse along; our goaltending has been so much better with Baumann in net.
 
Everyone only ever loses because of the ref. You beat no one that you shouldn’t have beat. Yet you are trying to compare your players to a team who’s have won 3 major trophies in a row. I get this board is euro snobs but you can’t convince me until you do it. Your lists mean absolutely nothing to me. I’m old enough to remember Werner was replacing Klose.

I never mention the refs except Uefa apologized for the error. So it’s fun to tease the Spanish fans. But it’s fine, you didn't watch the euros, instead you won your major trophy that you were the only good team competing for :sarcasm:

Olise is Bayern’s best atm, but largely because Musiala is hurt and pavlovic just returning.

One of those was recognized by uefa, the other only by Spanish fans ;-)
