Looks like Stuart Skinner is starting so people other than his fan club might be allowed to talk about him.

Hope he does well and gets on one of his heaters. The team needs solid consistent goaltending to win a cup.
I'm not a huge supporter of his abilities but to cheer against him is to cheer against the Oilers and I won't do that--so yes, let's hope he does get on a major league heater.

As good as Pickard has been, I don't think you can ride him through a 6 or 7 game series which is probably what the Kings encounter will be. You need someone else who can share the pressure and I don't think that's Rodrigue.

I've never joined in the anti-Skinner circle jerk that passes for discussion on here, but as neither Stu nor Cal has a superior pedigree, I think the coaching staff should be smart and just start the guy who's been better all season ー who, clearly, is Pickard.

The coaching staff seems to feel some sort of obligation to push Skinner into a starting role, but I have no idea why. In playoffs, just start the guy who's been better.

As to these last few games, it doesn't really matter. Just don't get hurt.

I’d never cheer against Skinner or any Oiler and always hope they do well. Will be objective and recognize when they are guilty of poor play from McDavid to Skinner.

Skinner needs to exorcise those mental demons and dial it in for the final few games and get on a heater like he vs Dallas.

You are correct. Neither has pedigree and you have to go with the hot hand.

FYI, every discussion in here is a circle jerk. No one can be absolved of being culpable.

No one.

This one will turn into one too. You just try to stay back and not get anything on ya.

As long as Knob knows when to make the switch if either goalie is failing I'm good with the tandem.
