OK so after doing a little research I have questions.

25 points in 45 games his first year why are you giving that up?

42 points in 104 games why are you giving that up?

23 years old 6'3 212 why are you giving that up?

The 6'3 212 particularly stands out to me because we know that Treliving and Berube like size makes me wonder if they inquire

Now, this is obviously pure speculation, but if I had to guess the player is very unhappy with his opportunities and this is Preds trying to get trade talks in before it comes out it's actually Pärssinen wanting out. At least it's very plausible.

adding to it, gets about 2 hits a game (28 in 15 games)

he isnt good at faceoffs though at 46.8% but that shouldnt be the reason to give him up

Same reason we gave up on Tomasino and Fabbro - Bruno and Trotz have no idea what they're doing.

agree with other Nashville reps here, Parsnip (as some call him) has a nose for the puck, he has hockey IQ as they say. Works hard, lacks confidence at this stage due to our team's poor talent mgmt.
I think he will stick for some team.

Pars is not a transition player. He has looked the best when he is able to cycle in the zone and use his body to maintain possession and use his IQ to create. He plays well behind the net and coming off the boards. His zone entries are meh and he looks a little lost trying to play this quick transition game. I just don't think the system is the right fit for him. His skating is ok, but he's not fast by any stretch of the imagination.

...which is why I suspect he might not be on Waddell's list of Guys We Can Save From That Sinking Ship, unfortunately. Still think he could be effective up here, tho.
