Okay, fun game and all, yadda yadda, but has anyone else noticed some really aggressive scraping noises over the last month or so? Sounds like someone REALLY heavy is trying to stop a lot of momentum and is just BURNING the ice. Kinda like Byfuglien is back. Now I’m hearing that several GM’s may or may not be in on Ehlers.
It’s too early to say but Win may be sellers or buyers at the TD ,my sources tell me that
Cheveldayoff is possibly looking or not looking to stand pat.

Regarding Stanley: I thought' he's had a decent game. However, on Nashville's PP goal, he was skating behind the net with the puck, no pressure fron Nashville and instead of moving up further, he tried to rim it. Puck stopped at the blue line and then it was in the net. I want this guy to succeed but....

I noticed Hellebuyck stared after him on that goal. If you're going to screen the goalie, you need to block the shot.

Otherwise I think he's played fairly well at 5v5.

When he wants to be. He is expendable if they can find someone with a motor to replace him. I am not saying get Gallagher but someone of that make up.

The piling on gets tiresome, yes he makes mistakes but the coaching staff think when all is said and done and everyone is healthy he is a top six d man on a team that has been in first for most of the year and they know a whole lot more about hockey than me.
