2-0 Sweden, Timashov with another apple

Really wanted to watch this game :(

Timashov is having quite the year, it wouldn't surprise me if he was a big producer this tournament.

Played excellent in the rookie tournament.

Had 2 points in 2 games during the pre-season.

Playing excellent in the QMJHL.

2-0 Sweden after the 1st period.

1-0 Grundström (Timashov, JFK)
2-0 Forsling (Timashov, Grundström)

Shots 18-4

Hopefully Grundström & Timashov can become a duo. They should complement eachother pretty well.

Well the Leafs can still draft him if the Penguins make the playoffs or he falls to the 2nd round :sarcasm:

Shots are 29-7... I am wondering now, is Slovakia that bad this year, or Sweden that good. That's just pure domination.

I did notice that aswell. Crazy

Last year in bronze medal game the shots were 28-28.
Yeah but that game was by far the worst junior game I've seen Sweden play since 2008 something tells me that game was the exception not the other way around

One match doesn't change anything. Look at all the previous games. Swedes obviously didn't care about the bronze medal that much. They thought they were easily going to crush Slovaks, but we had unbelievable Godla and our whole team was in a great mood.
