FIN lineup.

Vehviläinen (Kähkönen)

Niku - Mikkola
Juolevi - Mattila
Tuulola - Sopanen
Salo - Vaakanainen

Kapanen - Hintz - Kalapudas
Saarela - Nättinen - Repo
Björkqvist - Siikonen - Lämsä
Tammela - Mäkinen - Virta

Scratches: Larmi, Saarijärvi, Keskitalo, Aho, Laine and Puljujärvi. Edit - Lammikko too.

It's clearly a tryout roster for Finland, with the guys vying for the bottom units having their day.

So Laine-Aho-Puljujarvi line pretty much confirmed?

At least that's one positive if we can't watch the game that some of the best players won't play.

So Laine-Aho-Puljujarvi line pretty much confirmed?

I don't think so... I hope not.

That's a possibility, I guess. Or we'll see some more mix'n'matching once Jalonen adds them to the lineup.

But if we presume that's the case... then I'd say our final top-9 will look like this:

Kapanen - Hintz - Rantanen (with Kalapudas acting here as a clear placeholder)
Saarela - Nättinen - Repo
Laine - Aho - Puljujärvi

I'd prefer to see Laine and Saarela other way 'round though. Guess we're wiser on that on Wednesday.

Teemu Lämsä is in the roster, interesting. He wasn't in the original roster.
He was called to camp because Tammela had some kind minor lower-body injury last week and couldn't play in the scrimmages.

0-1. Scheisse, Finland cannot keep up with Suisse even. I must revise my expectations for this team. Ain't funny.

Sad, that Swiss scored the first goal, but it's an early press of the...

I assume this is sarcasm? Since Laine, Aho, Puljujarvi, Rantanen, and Saarijärvi aren't playing

Yup, it is also sarcasm; sarcasm softened disappointment and fear this team is gonna stumble and finally collapse in front of the home crowd.

2-0. At least it should make it clearer for Jalonen who to cut out of the final roster now.
