I’m not a fan of callouts like this unless it’s someone that said good things about Jim Benning; then it sustains me.

f*** Jim Benning and f*** anyone that has ever defended him, go hang your head in shame.
Jim Benning was a biblical plague only the most damned of sports fanbases have ever experienced. Words cannot describe just what a failure that man was or what a failure his defenders are at life.

Fight me, I don't care. You'll lose. Just like the Canucks did every f***ing season under Benning.

All I can think about was the wasted decade of existence that consisted of expensive liquid poop on the ice, magical thinking about the future with high pitch voiced males doing everything in their limited abilities to defend it... after running the greatest General Manager in Canucks history out of town. This organization is completely stupid.

If they can get a top 4 LD, Soucy can be slotted down as the bottom pair LD.

I’d be targeting guys like Sanheim, Gavrikov, Chychrun, Romanov, Brodin, and
gavrikov may be realistic now if la bombs without their ace

Chrychrun i just dont see the appeal.. soft as butter and frankly overrated on the o-side too

Pettersson is great but i think that has sailed

Brodin is on his legacy contract and while fantastic isnt a contract to bring in at his age with another big off season coming money decision wise

Romanov could be decent but expensive to acquire

Sanheim is intriguing but philly will keep pushing and want him i imagine

Ideally:
Hughes-Hronek
Top 4 LD-Myers
Soucy-Desharnais

Our right side doesn’t really look all too bleak anymore with Willander on the way and Hronek locked up but I’m absolutely worried about the left side and it’s future outlook (as of today). Don’t really have anyone in our organization that can develop into one as well.

All things in due time. It's the next major acquisition.

Marcus Pettersson would make us a contender. Probably wont ever happen but man he fits perfectly.

Shea Theodore would make me cream too. And he’s a pretty good hockey player

I can see Gavrikov shaking lose as a rental. I want to see us get Petterson just for fun lol

Looks like Petterson is on his last year so he could also shake lose, I mean the Pens roster is pretty f***ing shit.

What? You didn't appreciate the 'trade draft picks for players to fill age gaps' philosophy?

I mean... Why gamble on keeping a 2nd/3rd round Pick and developing it when you can use it to trade for a flawed former 1st/2nd round Player from a few yrs earlier. I mean.. that's an upgrade, right?
Bonus points if from Medicine Hat.

I'm sorry, I didn't see the tapping of the sign and just responded to the mere mention of Benning like a rabid dog frothing at the mouth having a mailman waive a steak at them.

Go Canucks. ;)

Copying from what I read on the internet:

The truth is that giraffes are not typically aggressive toward humans. There are only very rare recorded incidents of giraffes attacking humans in the wild. I could find only one such incident, and it involved a female giraffe protecting her calf.

In view of the above and as a quantity surveyor who specialises in structural steel building works, I can confirm that Connor Garland is indeed the calf of Tyler Myers.
This entire post is incredible. I never laughed fully out loud but I was kinda like constantly snort/giggling through it right from the beginning.

After we brought in better players for less than half the cost the allure of big Z all but vanished.

If he was going to give us a bargain then great, but big no thanks at the contract he got in foston, good luck with that.
Yup.. Z had to look out for himself first and foremost... This was his opportunity to cash in and set himself up.. prime age .. perfect timing.. cha ching.. good on him. Earned it. Will be missed.

If we have another great year... FA Players will continue to flock here to get their opportunity to cash in elsewhere.
Sign here, success, cash in... That is a good thing. It's what Sprong and Suter are hoping for... Suter is already a lock to leave to set himself and family up after this year.

But occasionally you may keep the odd one that figures he's made enough money in their careers and will take less to stay for various reasons... Like Myers. Maybe Soucy next...

Anyways... Good vibes right now anyway.. good vibes..

It’s a sweet analogy to life. Failure to plan, failure to see it as it is, will lead one into no man’s land

Let's be real here... it's not like the Benning regime would have actually developed those picks.

Oh shit, Beniers is in. Please God let Coach Rick see the wisdom in dressing Tyler Myers tomorrow night.

I want to see some zany sitcom shit, where Myers apologizes and buries the hatchet with Beniers, only to trip over a cracker, fall into Miller who drops a water bottle, the bottle top pops off and blasts it across the floor into a stick rack which falls over just in time to trip Beniers as he’s leaving the room. And then Myers rushes over to help him up only to accidentally knee him in the head in his hurry just as that beat reporter comes in and sees “the stork” standing in horror over Beniers who’s clutching his forehead yelling at Myers to get away from him.
