I know we don't have lines yet but is anyone expected to play that played last night?
One of the D will, because "team B" at practice yesterday only had 5 (Mailloux is in a non contact jersey). They also had way too many rookies at forwards to play against Ottawa who are reportedly bringing their main squad. So expect some forwards to play again as well.I know we don't have lines yet but is anyone expected to play that played last night?
Can I want to see the rookies play and get shelled more than watch more Drouin Dadonov Hoffman or Gallagher lolOne of the D will, because "team B" at practice yesterday only had 5 (Mailloux is in a non contact jersey). They need to at least try it during pre seasonAt the moment no. But I can see one or two play a second game in a row. I wouldn't mind seeing Slaf play tonight and get time with Caufield & Suzuki.
Literally looks like their opening night lineupSens roster for tonight:

I know players were on the ice, but who played?

Even on offence, we have to much players that bring the same things (Hoffman/Dadonov/Drouin).They just don't have the defence to compete yet. When they settle on forward lines, that group is pretty deep. Sure there's some questions, but it's probably going to be pretty good. The back end will be an issue though. There'll be 2 rookies on any given night, and we'll probably see them rotating. The vets will probably be forced to play somewhat above what their place should actually be. The only offence will come from Matheson, a bit from Wideman. No one else will really produce. The rookies will take time, but I'm not sure any of them will become big point producers. Plus, I'm not sure where Matheson truly should be either. He's most likely a number 3 though.
