Did we ever learn what actually happened to Mitchell? From all I've gathered online its radio silence

From what I've heard, he's been run out of Tofino and is now elsewhere on the island, closer to his hometown. Not sure what happened with any litigation, but I'd imagine he'd settle out of court and we wouldn't hear about it publicly. It was being investigated by the police, and its been 2 years now, so I doubt there are any criminal charges pending. If there was any out of court settlement, it would probably involve the victim dropping charges. I hope the victim got paid. I'm sure if you ask around in Tofino people will know what is up, no secrets in that town.

The restaurant itself shut down and got reopened under new ownership.
