Panarin still looks like a complete ghost of his first season here. He’s just not willing to do the things that made him so dominant. He’ll rack up his points on the PP. Mika/Kreider isn’t a thing. Why is it a thing? They’re besties. Great. They only belong together on PK/PP.
 
Whatever momentum they had was lost on that shift where the goal was scored.

Panarin-Zibanejad seems like an excellent passer-shooter combo and it also feels like something we've never tried.

Everyone has to play with their friends instead.

This team needed a grumpy coach in the worst way and they hired everyone's cool uncle that buys them beer when they're 16.
