David Perron can fire one timers into the net; not so much screening and tipping. He’s wasted as the net front presence, but is a premiere passer and finisher on the man advantage.

Devils could use help on the power play.
Someone that screens the goalie and can work the top of the crease with tips and greasey goals off rebounds.

Any of those specialist players available.
It will be a bonus if they can also play 3C but winger is fine too.

Reinhart is 7th or 8th in PPGs since 2020-21.
He can play C as well but being used as a RW in Florida.

Bo Horvat has more deflection goals than anyone this year. Also plays the PP bumper very well, and wins possession for the PP on most occasions… he’d be my pick for this team in this scenario.

That's not really Boeser per se...but he's generally been asked to play a role on the PP hanging around down low at the side of the net. He's reasonably effective there, even if it makes no sense that they don't have him play a bit further out off the half wall/faceoff dot in a "shooty spot".

Really though...if you want a big net front presence, probably want to be calling up Montreal about Josh Anderson. Who would add some other desirable elements as well.

The other guy that makes a lot of sense to me for the Devils, is to maybe make some inquiries on Nino Niederreiter. With Nashville kinda out of it and not really having the season they expected...i'd wonder if NJD could milk that "Swiss connection" a bit and find the sort of winger they seem to be looking for, on a very palatable contract.
From Montreal Dvorak Lowkey places that role better

Yeah. That does seem to be the general mode in which Dvorak gets his points.

The thing that probably makes him a little less of a perfect fit for the Devils though, is what he brings outside of that. Where i'm not sure he's a guy you want to trade for to play wing to Hughes necessarily. Nor does he add much of a physical presence or dynamic speed or anything.

But if you just purely needed a guy to play garbage man around the net, he'd definitely be an option.

They’ll look at Bertuzzi as many teams will. He scores in traffic better than most. If he comes back and has a good month or so before the deadline, it won’t effect his value. If he struggles coming back, it might end up great value for a team, as he’ll be much better that second and third month he’s back from the injury. He will add a dimension to some playoff team, making them harder to play against when it counts.

If the Ducks do move him, it would be neat to see Henrique back in NJ. He's not an exact fit for what OP described, but is a proven scorer who could play 3C or top 6 wing
