McDavid with a pass to no one, Bouchard with the Bambi legs, and Ekholm covering air.

The bottom 6 and bottom 4 defence have mostly done their jobs and played well, it's the top players that have failed at both ends of the ice. 2 goals from their top 6 in 5 games is an absolute failure.

Absolute pathetic 3rd period. This team can't push the pace when called upon. The lack of team speed and depth is so apparent against a good team. Dallas shut this team down without even blinking. Expect the same against teams like Vancouver, Winnipeg, Rangers, Panthers, etc. We are severely lacking functional speed and transition ability.
