Where hes from doesnt indicate a good trade or not but when he has a M-NTC it does matter.

Any idea if his play is bad because he was trying to play through an injury?
I'd be interested in him if for no other reason than to flip him at next TDL retained down to 2.25M. He'll be a 34 year old UFA so maybe he gets in great shape over the off season in hopes of performing well enough for one last 2-3 year deal before his career is basically over.

Doesn't have a listing to anyone on his EP page, but if the dad was only a club player, probably wouldn't have a page. Actually his DU page lists his father's name as "Kyle", who may own an insurance agency in Barrington

That is horrible for Hawks and the point of potentially acquiring Jones is to strengthen Avs top 4 moving Girard just creates a new hole for them
If Hawks are eating $2.5M yearly thur rest of Jones contract, we better receive value back in deal

If teams are allegedly calling about him with one of which even saying "screw analytics we have to get him" there is value to be gained from Jones. Also just blindly ignoring Trouba actually returned value while being even worse than Jones
