Speculation: Potential TDL adds we can get?

I'm not just spit balling here I think Rantanen is very much possible assuming Carolina wants to trade him. Panthers have the 2026' pick available, Mookie would be on the table, along with Jack Devine. Sell the farm.

A second player I would love to have is Henri Jokiharju. Not so much for this year but further down the line. Maybe a possible Ekblad replacement for next year or Schmidt replacement.

I don’t think they can trade that ‘26 pick since it has a condition on it from the tkachuk trade. If so, we really only have a 2nd in ‘26, 2 4ths this year and 2 4ths in ‘26, and a select few prospects. I don’t think they’re going big fish hunting

I’d like kunin but I think they play him mostly at wing and we could use a center. Maybe there’s a small chance we can land gourde for a fairly cheap price since we can take on his contract with no retention. Nico sturm would be a big centerman who wouldn’t cost much. Fabbri could be another option. Theres some guys out there

We don’t need Rantanen. He would be an insane luxury. Get rid of Nosek, get a real backup, and get a depth D and let’s roll.

Ryan Donato would be a nice grab but doesn't make a ton of sense for us...

Vancouver would be an interesting trade partner... Would they be willing to move Silovs? prolly not.

Alex Lyon available? prolly not

I dont love the idea of judge as the backup

This is the type of potential deal I had in mind when I mentioned using our cap space. Facilitate a deal for Nelson to go to MN and then kick in a little extra (Nosek) for Gaudreau.

What more do you want from a 4th line center? lol

Stenny had 15 points and was a -10 last year.

4th line is creating good chances, grinds it out, and doesnt get caved in
Its a bit better than last year tbh

Of course Stenny scored more personally but nosek has double his assists than stenny had last year and hes played way less games 50vs82.

PK yes we miss him and his threat shorthanded

If you can give your 4th line defensive deployment and "nothing happen" that's a huge win. tbf, Stenlund had brutal defensive deployment and wasn't coping well with it.

Stenlund was -14 with an expected differential of -6 and Nosek is +7 with an expected differential of +6, albeit with an easier deployment. You want low event and low variance hockey from your 4th line. I'll take a steady slightly positive over a peak and valley 4th line.

I mean yes. I guess I value a little more offense from our 4th line. I feel like all 4 of our lines have to be dangerous to some extent. And Stenlund was a freak on the PK
