Speculation: Potential TDL adds we can get?

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Took me a few hours this morning to get over this one, been a big proponent of keeping Knighter, I get why we've done it but worry about where this leaves us in net if Bob gets injured or declined in next few years. Also feel bad for Spencer, playing for the hawks is going to be tough for his confidence and development, at least he could develop behind a good team with us...

Is there any world in which we get Boeser and stay under the cap if Chucky is on LTIR? Gotta wonder where the 2026 1st is being shopped given the terms of the Jones deal....

I mean Zito can get whatever goalie he wants. I’m not worried. Who wouldn’t want to play here behind this defense?

Any other potential moves before Friday either needs to send money out the door in return or put MT on LTIR until the playoffs. 9.5m is a lot of room to play with to add possibly a goalie and another forward.

E-Rod was great in the finals, is a playoff gamer, I'm okay with him anywhere.

Samoskevich, I don't know, but man I am incredibly impressed with him right now. He needs to get stronger on the puck, but he plays such a mature game already. Defensively responsible and backchecks hard. I think I would just keep playing him with Bennett and see what happens.

Samo is basically still a rookie, yeah? And Paul Maurice, a coach notorious for loving veterans, has him up on the second line and is happy to keep playing him there. Says more than I ever could.

Ottawa would never do it. They'd be stupid to do it. And it's a shame, because having the Tkachuk brothers together would be great for the sport, IMO. But it would be very stupid for Ottawa and the Sens' management has to do what's best for Ottawa and not for the NHL.

What does Calgary want for Lomberg?
