Our top 2 lines have to be loaded and this is the best way to attack Tampa IMO now with the added bottom 6 depth. Laffarti will be a surprise cuz of his speed and can put the puck in the net. Promote Knies to 4th line start him off slow and let him play with Acciari, Jarnkrok veteran guys to ease his transition. Engvall traded, useless in playoffs last yr and the playoff game doesnt suit him.

I think some people are underrating Kerfoot. He is a fine bottom 6 player. 5 months ago Kerfoot was coming off a 51 point season and Lafferty was barely an NHLer. He can be replaced because he has a high cap hit but if we have him we should use him.

And to be fair, we’ve added 3 guys who are very effective on the PK, so that puts Kerfoot down the pecking order as well.

There are valid reasons to retain or trade for each of the three players (Kerfoot, Engvall, Holl). Engvall might make the best candidate for a move though due to having the lowest ceiling (Kerfoot has played in the top six and Holl in the top four) while also being the only one of the lot with no trade veto whatsoever.
