Only in Boston would we have a coach who is 120-40-15 as Head Coach, a top six with 2 top six players on it and he is the one at risk of being fired NOT the management team...
After spending so much money in the off season, and with expectations, rightly or wrongly, through the roof, if the Bruins fail to make the post season and reap the all important playoff gate, Sweeney and Neely may finally have to pay the piper.

I'm not a betting man, and I would not bet on this. But it's possible. More possible, perhaps, then at any time in the past 10 years.

I agree. Im not supporting Monty staying but I dont think it’ll matter much.
Only one way to find out.

I keep repeating myself but it’s time. Get it over with so we all stop sitting and waiting. Same with the players and Monty himself.

Then if they continue to be caca, you proceed from there in the offseason. If they somehow turn it around and play some inspired ****ing hockey, then well, it is what it is- Monty is Woodcroft in that scenario.

I don't think firing Monty is gonna do much: they need a much bigger overhaul, from top to bottom.
I was not in favor of firing Butch, but I understood that coaches have expiration dates. I was also when Butch got fired, that Monty be given a shot at the job, I now are in favor of losing his job. I know the coach is given the roster to play with, why has Sweeney been given a pass? I watched Joe Haggerty, and he is certainly not one of my favorites, and all he does is call for Monty's dismissal, but not once have I heard him criticize Sweeney, I am guessing that when Monty gone he still has to go in that room with Sweeney still there , my thoughts are if you are brave enough to rip the coach, grow a pair and do the same to the GM. My thoughts are the Haggerty is a gutless coward along with many in Boston, media just a bunch of frauds. You are calling for a man's job, then do your job.

The guy does not pick the groceries. Assuming he has little input on trades/ signings. Bottom line they had issues last year ( skill and physicality). They addressed one ( please don’t tell me Mr Hekly/jekyl or Mr no emotion would make a difference on this train wreck. Problem is that they have at least 9 guys that would be good bottom six players. Second problem is that sadly down in providence they have only one ( maybe 2/merk?) players out of 14 forwards that are possible top 6 players. Balance are a bunch of grinders. To me this starts with Cam and Sweeney. They buy the groceries. They run the drafts. They sign the free agents.

They have enough groceries to make something better than this shit meal they've prepared

As they should. They actually could think in their head that Joe Sacco is the answer which is absolutely insane.

I'd argue it's Monty and the coaching staffs fault that the bottom has fallen out defensively.

But the historically bad offense? That's on Sweeney and Neely.

Buccigross calling for the B's to shit or get off the pot with Monty. Says time is right to either make a commitment to Monty (extension) or cut him loose so the new coach can hit the ground running with the light schedule ahead.
Valid point, but I can't take anything that selfie-taking goofball says seriously

My Dad said the roads are full of dead squirrels that couldnt make up their minds.
It's so true in sports....do something, even if it's wrong.
You are the defender in basketball on a 2 on 1. Do you watch them go for the layup ? No you attack the ball carrier...do something.

You hit a crap lob in tennis... do you watch the other guy smash it....no you run towards them.... maybe they freak out and they miss, maybe it hits your racquet and goes for a winner.

I played tennis....the other guy hits it in the corner and comes to the net...do you hit it to him? Screw that go for the unlikely shot up the doubles alley that hooks back in.
You are likely to lose the point anyway, give yourself a chance.

The only thing you can do wrong is nothing
