I am not good at this (not a theme)
 
I went on the mains to see what the perception of the Kings are, and a lot of them think we are favorites. How we are scary to play against, and so on. Was hoping for overrated and lucky and such for a good idea.

What in the actual f*** is going on?

These ideas are soft so far. Let’s use some more creativity in terms of theme.
 
Well this thread inspired me to update mine. If I had more time id put it on a purple and gold background
 
Underdog and Sweet Polly Purebred (make the opposition Simon Bar Sinister) carries the bark madness over to the POs
 
Could probably go with some theme of "Player X better than Kings Player A?"

Like Toews being a top 100 player over Kopitar
Karlsson vs Doughty
Stutzle vs Byfield
Didn't some Habs fans say they wouldn't trade Gallagher for Vilardi early in the season?

Basically juxtapose several players who fans think have a better contemporary/peer but the Kings make the playoffs instead of the "superior" players

Could use Dom L's "Kings are fake good" from before the deadline haha



To his credit he has corrected HARD since and taken his roasting well but I thought it was great

Habs fans said they wouldn't take Vilardi + a 1st for Anderson during training camp and that htey'll just pick his bust ass up off waivers. TomD agreed and as I told him he will disappear for 6 months then come back and pretend he didn't say that and lo and behold...

That's right. It was Anderson.
 
I think the story of the season was goaltending.

Maybe something showing Blake kicking Peterson out of the crease, then Quick, then Copper, then finally Korpi at the end. Or maybe a revolving door.

Or maybe depicting Blake throwing Quickie off the Kings team airplane could be funny.
