Did this for my own amusement but compiled the 4 recent user posts from the mid-season into an aggregate list, with a few modifiers for outliers / common names.

This is not at all scientific but halfway through the first season most have been really able to lay eyes on some of these guys, here is what we have as kind of an initial "shape" of the draft names. "------" denotes a statistical "break" between groupings:

1. G. McKenna (#1 on each list)
2. K. Verhoeff (#2 on each list)
3. M. Preston (between #3-6 on each list)
4. R. Roobroeck (between #3-8 on each list)
5. E. Belchetz (high #3, low #12)
6. I. Stenberg (high #3, low #10)
7. V. Bjorck (between #5-7 on three lists)
8. S. Katolicky (#4 on two lists)
--------------------------------------------------------
9. C. Reid (high #5, low #22)
10. A. Novotny (between #11-17 on each list)
11. V. Fyodorov (top 10 on 2 lists but low of #31)
12. X. Villeneuve (high #8, low #25)
13. R. Lin (top 10 on 2 lists but outside R1 on one list)
14. M. Berchild (high #9, low #31)
15. M. Gustafsson (high #9 but outside R1 on one list)
16. T. Lawrence (between #11-22 on each list)
17. B. Wassilyn (high #8 but outside R1 on one list)
18. J. Hextall (between #12-33 on each list)
19. O. Murnieks (between #12-33 on each list)
20. C. Carels (between #10-15 on 3 lists, outside R1 on one list)
21. B. Edwards (high #13 but outside R1 on one list)
--------------------------------------------------------
22. L. Steiner (top 25 on 3 lists, outside R1 on one list)
23. Y. Shilov (top 25 on 3 lists, outside R1 on one list)
24. L. Schairer (high #14, outside R1 on one list)
25. A. Valentini (high #14, outside R1 on one list)
26. M. Dagenais (high #17, outside R1 on one list)
27. J. Hurlbut (between #27-36 on each list)
28. C. Fitzgerald (#22 on two lists, outside R1 on one list)
29. A. Di Iorio (top 32 on 3 lists, outside R1 on one list)
30. N. Aaram-Olsen (top 32 on 3 lists, outside R1 on one list)
31. C. Harrington (between #27-53 on each list)
32. M. Nordmark (high #16, outside R1 on two lists)

Nice! I feel like Rogowski is building steam for sure and people really like Hicks. What do you think about Zurawski?

Out of the Q - I'm assuming no Steiner is simply an oversight? Will Bent has good physical tools coming from prep and seems to be settling in after a slow start, I think he is a riser. Have you been able to watch him at all?

Ooh yes Steiner is on my euro list haha, he should be in the first.

I’ve seen a good deal of Zurawski when he was on Flint and have seen two games of Bent before he was acclimated to the Q. As of now I’d see them both as 4th-5th rounders but Bent in particular could climb. I don’t dislike Zurawski but for now I see him as a good junior player but unsure of projectability

Looking like it'll be another very strong WHL class next year even before we see what imports and maybe Americans come in. Could see the first 5 players all go top 10 if they keep performing+progressing as they currently are. Quite a few of the "B" ranked players can easily jump to "A" grade as have talent just have been buried in the depth chart(except Williams) so should see big jump in opportunities their draft years, will have to produce though.

A=1st, B=2/3, C=4+

Pierce Mbuyi is going to one to shoot up the rankings next season. Just has that killer instinct in him.

He’s this age group’s Jett Luchanko. Speed for days, and always gives his all. Sucks he’s only 5’10” because he is a power forward to a tee. Shouldn’t hold him up at all on draft day, because he has the best motor in his age group.

Valentini is from Toronto but apart from that good list, I don’t think Dagenais is a first round talent but NHL lineage and physical package might blur the view for some teams

Berchild and Hurlbert are going to be the overrated NTDP players next year it seems.

There are a few every year because people can’t interpret NTDP stats correctly a la Will Moore and Charlie Trethewey.

Berchild is good, but has projection issues to the NHL. He’s a late first, at best. Likely not even that.

Hurlbert is another kid that I think has some projection issues, even if he scores pretty well. He’s smallish, skating is okayish, and likely moved off center. Maybe a late first. Maybe not a first.

American players to watch for not being discussed enough are Luke Schairer, Jack Hextall, Jonas Kemps, and Landon Nycz. All four are first rounders for me.

Good list but we are a full year out, after McKenna who is a lock for #1 I can see quite a bit of movement here as certain players progress and others less so.
