Couple notes:

Will Smith has put himself in tp-10 consideration with his phenomenal start to the season.

We're starting to see defenders separate themselves from the rest near the top of the draft, Reinbacher is my favorite of them at the moment.

Andrew Cristall is a top-10 talent, and so is Jayden Perron. But size may hinder them on draft day - they're both extremely skilled players however and boast some real high upside.

Calum Ritchie has been dropping - Colby Barlow is narrowly the top player out of the OHL so far, some team is going to like his combination of intangibles, grittiness and offensive game. Richie has been disappointing to start the season. Here is hoping he turns it around.

Weak year for QMJHL - still only Ethan Gauthier I envision having first-round ambitions. Morin is putting together a strong offensive season and may sneak his way into the late first but other than that -it is looking real bleak.

Cameron Allen continues to fall after a horrid start to the year - Guelph was supposed to be a real good team and Allen was supposed to take a step forward, but neither has happened so far.

I usually don't include goalies in lists like these but I decided to take a crack at it. I have seen 5 goalies that I really like this year so far. Clara. Hrabal, Bjarnason, Ratzlaff, and Zavragin - I don't think it is a weak year for goaltending talent.

Couple notes:

Will Smith has put himself in tp-10 consideration with his phenomenal start to the season.

We're starting to see defenders separate themselves from the rest near the top of the draft, Reinbacher is my favorite of them at the moment.

Andrew Cristall is a top-10 talent, and so is Jayden Perron. But size may hinder them on draft day - they're both extremely skilled players however and boast some real high upside.

Calum Ritchie has been dropping - Colby Barlow is narrowly the top player out of the OHL so far, some team is going to like his combination of intangibles, grittiness and offensive game. Richie has been disappointing to start the season. Here is hoping he turns it around.

Weak year for QMJHL - still only Ethan Gauthier I envision having first-round ambitions. Morin is putting together a strong offensive season and may sneak his way into the late first but other than that -it is looking real bleak.

Cameron Allen continues to fall after a horrid start to the year - Guelph was supposed to be a real good team and Allen was supposed to take a step forward, but neither has happened so far.

I usually don't include goalies in lists like these but I decided to take a crack at it. I have seen 5 goalies that I really like this year so far. Clara. Hrabal, Bjarnason, Ratzlaff, and Zavragin - I don't think it is a weak year for goaltending talent.

some small players you like and think can overcome size and become top line players - others not as much.

Brindley is one of the “not as much“ guys for me at this point in time. I think he’ll be a good bottom-6 tenatious penalty killer - but not much more - right now.

I’ll make sure to hawk him the next time I watch a Michigan game though.

From the point of view of a Czech fan, I see Šprynar and especially Štencl as better players than Židlický.

Couple notes:

Will Smith has put himself in tp-10 consideration with his phenomenal start to the season.

We're starting to see defenders separate themselves from the rest near the top of the draft, Reinbacher is my favorite of them at the moment.

Andrew Cristall is a top-10 talent, and so is Jayden Perron. But size may hinder them on draft day - they're both extremely skilled players however and boast some real high upside.

Calum Ritchie has been dropping - Colby Barlow is narrowly the top player out of the OHL so far, some team is going to like his combination of intangibles, grittiness and offensive game. Richie has been disappointing to start the season. Here is hoping he turns it around.

Weak year for QMJHL - still only Ethan Gauthier I envision having first-round ambitions. Morin is putting together a strong offensive season and may sneak his way into the late first but other than that -it is looking real bleak.

Cameron Allen continues to fall after a horrid start to the year - Guelph was supposed to be a real good team and Allen was supposed to take a step forward, but neither has happened so far.

I usually don't include goalies in lists like these but I decided to take a crack at it. I have seen 5 goalies that I really like this year so far. Clara. Hrabal, Bjarnason, Ratzlaff, and Zavragin - I don't think it is a weak year for goaltending talent.

Couple notes:

Will Smith has put himself in tp-10 consideration with his phenomenal start to the season.

We're starting to see defenders separate themselves from the rest near the top of the draft, Reinbacher is my favorite of them at the moment.

Andrew Cristall is a top-10 talent, and so is Jayden Perron. But size may hinder them on draft day - they're both extremely skilled players however and boast some real high upside.

Calum Ritchie has been dropping - Colby Barlow is narrowly the top player out of the OHL so far, some team is going to like his combination of intangibles, grittiness and offensive game. Richie has been disappointing to start the season. Here is hoping he turns it around.

Weak year for QMJHL - still only Ethan Gauthier I envision having first-round ambitions. Morin is putting together a strong offensive season and may sneak his way into the late first but other than that -it is looking real bleak.

Cameron Allen continues to fall after a horrid start to the year - Guelph was supposed to be a real good team and Allen was supposed to take a step forward, but neither has happened so far.

I usually don't include goalies in lists like these but I decided to take a crack at it. I have seen 5 goalies that I really like this year so far. Clara. Hrabal, Bjarnason, Ratzlaff, and Zavragin - I don't think it is a weak year for goaltending talent.

From the point of view of a Czech fan, I see Šprynar and especially Štencl as better players than Židlický.

I can see why - I like the raw tools out of Zidlicky and can see him being a valuable bottom 6er in the NHL - but I’m not too high on any of those guys and don’t foresee any crazy NHL potential from either of them.

Early look v2, slightly more complete list. I have had some time this weekend to watch games:

Haven't had any deep looks on USNTDP team this year yet so no Moore, Leonard yet. I expect both to be around top 15 range. This year's draft feels really stacked from top to deep in to the second round. I still like Ritchie but I don't know if he has enough hands to deliver points constantly. I also hate Michkov & Rotenberg combination this year. Bonk might also be too high but it is what it is.
